Alloy Steel WP9 Pipe Fittings have a principal composition of Molybdenum (Mo) and Chromium (Cr), with the overall composition of 0.15-0.30% Carbon, 1.0-1.5% Chromium, and 0.44-0.65% Molybdenum. They enhance the strength, hardness, and resistance to corrosion of the material, especially at high-pressure and high-temperature conditions. The mechanical properties are tensile strength of 415-585 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 20-30%. Due to its high oxidation resistance and good thermal stability, WP9 fittings are best suited for use in power plants, refineries, and other heavy industries.
